Mr. David

Meet Mr. David

Mr. David is a music teacher and multi-instrumentalist in North Carolina who believes that music is for everybody. He teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, drums, trombone, trumpet, and synthesizers — and runs an Instrument Explorer series where you can get your hands on instruments from all over the world.

He also records music under the name Reckless Martin and co-founded Bullseye Music, a Durham shop for used gear. His studio recitals are a whole thing — his students have covered Radiohead's OK Computer, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and Bowie's Ziggy Stardust front to back.

His favorite thing is being the first person to put a weird instrument in someone's hands or play them a record that changes everything. That's basically what this mail club is.
